Surface Design

Case Overview
The all-over skull print is one of my favorite patterns I’ve had the chance to work on. Digitizing it was a fun challenge, as the original design was airbrushed by hand on a physical canvas. I still take pride in the final result. Finding the right balance of texture, print quality, and repeatability continues to feel rewarding whenever I see it on A Fairy Tales End garments.
Approach
While surface design goes far beyond apparel, fashion is my home base. I’ve worked on every surface you can imagine: signage, human skin, arcade cabinets, vehicles, floors. The list could truly go on. But apparel is my root. From 2003 and the busted copy of CorelDraw on the family computer to today, I’ve remained enamored by the dynamic surfaces that clothing gives us to play with.
